The Utopian Estate, Arcadia

Arcadia, the place Nostradamus calls home. Scholars have gathered to study under the teachings of Nostradamus to further their knowledge of the world and of magic. This beautiful utopia some may call is nearly impenetrable due to the fact that a large barrier casted by top ranked mages protects it.

Our young warriors have just entered the bathhouse. Biggs would enter after waking up from his injuries as well as Shinji. It was actually Biggs showing the group to the bathhouse. Shinji wasn’t too thrilled considering his hot headedness and with what went down in Gadile. Virgil was also amongst the group having recovered enough to move about freely. Nir, Van, Benkei and R-17 would all enter the bathhouse to reveal that this was an extremely luxurious bathhouse.

”I know we’ve been walking for a bit but we’re finally here!” Biggs would smile and stop in front of a large double door. He’d place both hands on the doors and would push it open walking through. A very large tub was in the dead center of the room, with benches around. It had a running waterfall that filtered the water in the tub. There were multiple sinks on the sides each with their own individual mirrors. There was even a section to lounge in. The lounge area included two sofas and a short table in the middle. ”I feel like it’s been forever since we were here. How are you guys liking Arcadia so far?” Virgil would ask excitedly of the Galatians. Shinji has already moved onto the tub. He didn’t wait for anyone.

Just like the boys the girls had their own bathhouse. The layout was basically the same but with more extremities pertaining to females. ”Ok now cover your eyes.” Remi would pour a bucket of water over Anna. The soap that had covered the young girls hair and body would vanish. ”Mmmm.. it’s so cold.” Anna would get the chills a bit from the cold water. ”Alright, now me.” Remi would turn around to sit down on the wooden stool. She’d face Stella and Kira. Anna would begin rubbing Remi’s back with soap. She’d eventually get to her hair as well. ”I wonder if our boys are getting along as well as us.” Remi would chuckle a bit.

Benkei watched as the guards surround R-17 but then lowered their weapons as they were informed to leave him be since he was with nostradamus. Benkei would chime in "He is traveling with us and under strict watch so i will be responsible for him" R-17 would just look in disgust "Look i do not care just point me to a bath or some grub okay?". Benkei scoffed as R-17 was disrespectful and apologized on his behalf "i am sorry for that he just a solder with no manners what so ever!". The guards with lead them to large bathhouses for men and woman. The bath was dead in the center with sinks all around the walls with individual mirrors. Virgil seemed to be overly excited as he knew the estate very well along with his friends "So you have been here before then?". Benkei would look at his demonic arm and his arm with twitch as if he could still sense whatever was sleeping within him. The group of boys each took to a sink to undress and get ready to bath "Nir how are your injuries holding up? as well as you van?" He then would glance up at kuro "Thank you again for the healing i did not get to thank you enough". Benkei would take his clothes off and reach into his pocket for the gem he took off the golem they defeated as it was pulsating as if it were reacting to something "Hmm what is this?" R-17 had followed shinji and just entered the bath "They do not have baths like this in duran"

Everyone was beginning to get settled in. The estate, Arcadia, was so grand and marvelous. They had time to go on a little tour before being taken to the bathhouse. The men were escorted by a few guards, but mainly Biggs guided them. He’d push two large doors open to reveal the bathhouse for men. It was absolutely beautiful and serene. Nir’s mouth had gaped open as his eyes had fallen upon the large bath in the middle of the room. It was then that Virgil had asked the newcomers what they thought about Arcadia. The Galatian would not hesitate in answering Virgil, ”This place is amazing Virgil! I already feel so relaxed. I’m willing to bet that the girls feel the same way.” He smiled, turning to Benkai who had asked about his wounds. ”Well Benkai, I just have a slight pain and this fresh scar.” Nir’d motion to the scar on his side, where he was stabbed. Van stood there in silence before offering his thoughts to Virgil. ”The place seems okay.” Not much was said, as opposed to what Nir had thought. The young man didn’t really care as much, but he too would answer Benkai. ”And I’m fine....” With that said, he followed after R-17 and Shinji.

”WHAAAAAAH!!!!! THIS IS THE BEST!” Kuro was left in awe at the sight of the bathhouse. The spectral fiend floated around the room, taking in its beautiful architecture and design. He’d then fly down towards Benkai, who had thanked him for healing everyone. ”Oh!!!! That was nothing!!! I will tell ya this though, I think I deserve a nice steamy bath!” In a matter of seconds, Kuro flew right by R-17 and Van, joining Shinji in the water! Little Kuro’d surface after a few bubbles, sighing in relief. ”The water feels so good! Kekekeke!” As Van walked behind R-17, he was able to hear his comment on there not being any bathhouses in Duran. ”That doesn’t surprise me. I’m willing to bet that your emperor has one hidden in his fortress...” Van removed his clothing, stepping into the water and resting his head back. Nir’d also step into the water as well, resting against the wall of the tub. ”Van, please don’t start...And back in Galatia we have bathhouses, but nothing like this.”

While the men were beginning to get situated, the girls were also ready in their tub. Stella had been submerged in the water from the middle of her breast down. She was slowly and gently combing her long purple hair while she watched Anna and Remi bathe each other. ”I’m sure the boys are doing okay.” She giggled and then smiled. ”Anna, you are just too cute.” Kira had been leaning back with her arms spread out. Unlike Stella, she had the top of her torso exposed to the other girls as she stretched her arms out. ”Ahhhhh!!! I feel so good right now!” Kira’d sink into the water, fully submerging herself before surfacing. ”And unlike you Stella, I think the guys are going to get into fight! Sorry, I’m not really the optimist here.” She chuckled as she poured water onto her green hair.

At this time the guys were prepping themselves. Benkei had asked Virgil if he had been here in Arcadia before. ”Of course we have. Arcadia has been our home for some time.” ”It’s not our home! Just a place for now.” Shinji would add in angrily while the others would stop to stare briefly. Virgil would turn back to the group. ”Sorry about that. A lot of things happened in the past.” Nir had told Virgil that this place was amazing. Galatia did in fact have bathhouses but not of this stature. The others would eventually begin entering the bath. Virgil would smile as he rather enjoyed hearing the young Galatian’s excitement for Arcadia. Biggs had noticed that Kuro would be floating through the tub. ”You’re actually able to bathe?” Biggs would ask considering that Kuro was a spectral figure it’s surprising to see him bathe.

The girls were very much enjoying there time. While Anna was washing Remi, Stella noted how cute she was. She’s was embarrassed at that comment and had shyed away crouching down with her reddened face buried into her knees. Remi noticed and turned around to Anna. She had a snister smile on her face. She’d use her magic, manipulating the wind picking Anna up. Anna hadn’t noticed until she was already in the air. She would begin panicking, squirming around. ”Wha... what are you doing?? Remi no-“ She was tossed into the tub in a split second. The impact would create a big splash that would drop on both Kira and Stella. Remi stood there laughing as her naked body was cover by the soap suds. Her hair had also been covering her medium sized bust.

As everyone settled in, benkei put the strange stone away till a later time as he entered the bath. R-17 then heard van comment "Hmmm maybe he does but at least now i see how the other half live for once". R-17 looked at shinji as he became defensive when virgil claimed this was home "Oh this is not your home? wonder where is it you call home hmmm? is it even still around?". Benkei sighed as he got in the bath and feeling very comfortable "This is beyond heavenly" Benkei looked at kuro and was very confused "You can actually bathe and feel this water on your body ?". It would seem biggs wondered the same thing. As time progressed Benkei would ask virgil or shinji a serious question "Do you think nostradamus knows of powerful ancient weapons that the duran army would be interested in? Maybe why they would be hunting for these powerful relics that belong to the ancients". Benkei looked up towards the ceiling "I saw in one of there war rooms they were searching for one......The monkey kings staff". R-17 could here Benkei and Wince in shock

R-17 was on board with the idea that the Emperor may have a bathhouse. As the leader of Duran, it wouldn’t be farfetched. ”You get to see a side that your people will never see.” The young Van stared at R-17, his right eye shut.

Nir had sat there in thought. When he first met them, they had told him that they were from Ovale. But Arcadia, Arcadia was their home. Shinji had suddenly corrected Virgil. Something had bothered him and it was evident that it had to do with Arcadia being called home. Every eye turned to Shinji for the moment, until Virgil broke the silence. Something from their past had bothered Shinji greatly. ”It’s okay..” Nir managed to smile. For once, he just wanted the entire room to be filled with positive energy. After all, they’ve been through so much in the past day. But it was only wishful thinking, for R-17 would make a comment that would most likely trigger emotion in Shinji yet again. ”Please, let’s just stay away from that topic.....Kuro, I’m also interested in knowing if you can actually feel the water to bathe?” Kuro had been alternating between Shinji and R-17, waiting for the inevitable. But both Biggs and Benkai’s question resonated once more, this time through Nir. ”Nope! I can’t feel a thing! I’m just trying to fit in! I can feel the intensity in here though...soooooooo...later!” The fiend would completely submerge into the water, leaving the men to whatever would come from their interactions. Van would simply close his left eye, shaking his head. It was then that Benkai asked R-17 about plans Duran had to retrieve the Monkey King Staff. He’d slowly open his eye, perplexed. What would Benkai possibly want with such a weapon? Nonetheless, something that was rumored to exist. ”Do you honestly believe in that? That’s a myth.”


Back with the girls, they seemed to be enjoying their time. Anna seemed nervous from Stella’s comment. The young girl had hid herself behind her knees, blushing a deep red. Stella’d giggle as she continued to comb her hair. Little did she know, Remi had a plan to send the young girl into the water. Using her elemental manipulation, she had carried Anna into the air, tossing her into the water with Stella and Kira. The water had splashed over the two young women! Stella’s hair had drooped over her face as she sat there in silence. Kira’d swim over to Stella, looking over her shoulder. She tried to hold in her laughter, but it was useless. Kira had erupted into a laughter like no other! ”AHAHAHA!!!!! That was hilarious!” Turned out the laugh was contagious, because Stella also bursted out laughing. And in the midst of their laughter, Kuro had emerged to join in. ”Ahahahahaha!!!! Wait!!! What’s so funny!?” Kira’d jump out of the water, startled to death! ”KURO!!!! WHAT ARE YOU DOING IN HERE!?” Stella’d cover her breast, turning away. ”K-K-Kuro, you shouldn’t be in here.” The fiend made a few blinks before he turned to Remi and Anna, ”Is it something I said?”

Shinji would stare at R-17. His intense gaze was enough to intimidate the normal man. Nir would intervene so that the situation didn’t escalate. They’d all finally join in getting into the bath. They’d all feel the warmth and coziness of the water, soaking away their aches and fatigue. Kuro would answer the confused young warriors by stating that because of his body he could feel nothing at all. It was simply his imagination. He’d notice the atomosphere had been shifted in an undesirable manor so he left.

It was to be expected but there were question that needed to be asked. For starters Benkei had asked the Ovale group if Nostradamus had any knowledge on Duran. ”Master Nos is the wisest man we know. Information gathering is what makes Arcadia so amazing.” ”There are many scholars that live here. Not only Master Nos but there are many others that are wise here.” Biggs would chime in right after Virgil. ”To tell you the truth I don’t know anything about this Monkey King’s Staff.” Van would chime in as well stating the the staff was only a myth.

The girls were having fun splashing about. They couldn’t help but laugh. Even Anna who’s easily embarrassed was able to smile just a bit. Before long, Kuro had appeared before them wanting to know what was so funny. ”What the hell are you doing here!?” Remi angered covering her bare body with her arm and legs. Anna would shriek and hide in the water. Remi had also been preparing a magical attack for Kuro with her free arm.

Benkei looked at the group as he explained what he saw and how his information was flawed "It is not a myth, i know what i saw" Benkei gritted his teeth "They had plans and locations pin pointed for other weapons besides the staff, They belonged to beings that were revered as titans". Benkei washed his faced as he looked up to the cieling "If i am to ask these scholars and Nostradamus about these weapons maybe we can find out what they are planning". Benkei looked at van "You of all people should believe me when i say something bigger is at hand if they are looking for these things, imagine duran solders wielding weapons as powerful as faith or your sword devour van or even these gauntlets". Benkei materialized his gauntlets at hand "Imagine if they had something more powerful than anything we had" R-17 winced at what benkei had known and tried to defuse the situation"Enough talking about war and plans and just relax you know chill out ?". Benkei looked at him as if he was a idiot until the screams of the girls had echoed through the walls "The girls seem to be in trouble!!!" Benkei stood up in the water "Hey kuro phase through and see whats.......Where is kuro?????"

Both Virgil and Biggs had spoke of Nostradamus and the scholars of Ardcadia with such reverence. There was a chance that they’d know about Duran, and their plans. But this was of no importance to Nir. What mattered most was the location of Persephone. They were just losing time. ”Benkai, I understand that you want to know of these weapons, and Duran’s plans on obtaininf them. There are, however, more important things to worry about.” Nir looked down at the water. He stared deeply at the reflection, closing his eyes in frustration. ”Is there a way your master can locate Per—The Oracle? Or at least give us any leads?”

As he asked his question, there was a feint cry. If it weren’t so quiet, they wouldn’t have been able to hear it. Benkai immediately stood up from the water, his worry for the girls made apparent. Van, who had been sitting in silence, raised his hand. ”Kuro is with them. They were just startled. Now, staying her won’t help us locate The Oracle. If your master doesn’t have any information that could help, we should just leave. It’s been two days since she has been captured. They could be in another country for all we know.” He turned to Shinji, Biggs and Virgil. There was some doubt that Nostradamus could get something like this done. ”So I hope your master is as useful as you say he is.”

Meanwhile, the girls had been startled by Kuro’s sudden entry. Remi managed to cover herself with her arm and closed her legs, gathering energy for an attack with her free hand. Stella held her breasts, covering them with both arms as her lower half was submerged. Kira, along with Anna, had completely submerged herself in the water inititally. She’d then peek out. ”Look! Look! I’m so sorry! The guys were just giving off a bad vibe! I really didn’t want to see fighting or anything of the sort......I’ll leave! Before Remi could think of using her magic, Kuro had phased through the wall. This time he’d explore Arcadia by himself.

Nir had finally showed his frustration when the group wasn’t even talking about their true task at hand. He’d dismiss Benkei’s ideas on Duran’s possible schemes as that wasn’t the most important mission. The most important mission was for them to locate and recover the Oracle. He’d then ask the Ovale group if Nostradamus had a way of locating the Oracle. ”Master Nos most definitely has a way of locating her. He has a real unique power. Like.. umm, he does this thing. Uhhh.. mmm... I.. I can’t really explain it well myself so you’d have to talk to him and ask him yourself.” Biggs would answer. He was struggling to try to explain Nostradamus’ power but isn’t really successful. ”For the most part it is a draining power and we try not to rely on his power too often unless necessary. It’s completely up to master Nos’ discretion.”

Benkei had suddenly stood up worrying over me the girls but Van eased his mind letting him know that Kuro was with the girls. Van would then mention the amount of time that has passed since the oracle’s capture and that if Nostradamus didn’t have viable information they would be wasting their time. Shinji would already react, tensing up. Van couldn’t help himself but also add in saying to the Ovale group that he hopes Nostradamus is as good as they make him out to be. This condescending tone angered Shinji. ”This jerk is really pissing me off. I’m gonna-“ Shinji stood up revealing his upper half. He had a rather toned physic for his slender body. Before he could finish his sentence as well as his advance, Virgil would hold out his hand to stop him. ”Just chill out. We have a common goal. Deal with it for now.” Shinji would suck his teeth and return back to his spot quietly. ”Please watch what you say especially around him. Arcadia is a place that all who reside here worship Master Nos. Anyone they see as a threat to our Master, they will get rid of.” There was such a serious tone in his voice almost implying that he himself won’t hesi Van as well.

Before she could fire off an attack, Kuro would attempt to explain why he was there. He’d mention that the vibe over at the boys’ bathhouse was not very desirable so he left not wanting to see a fight. The explanation however was not good enough. ”So you decided to peek on the girls?” Angered Remi was seconds away from firing her magic but Kuro immediately phased away stating he’ll leave. ”He’s... gone..” Kuro’s prescence was no longer in the air. ”He’s friends with that hooded guy Van right....? That thing is so creepy.” She’d await Stella or Kira’s response followed up with stating how she thought the ghoul was creepy.

Benkei sighed as van explained that kuro was with the girls but benkei relaxed as he did agree with nir "I want to find the oracle as badly as you do, nothing is more important than my lady but i am just looking at the bigger picture at hand once we find here". Benkei looked at van who questioned nostradamus and had basically insulted their master "Van i am pretty sure he is capable of many things but we need to see it first hand". Shinji had become frustrated but was calmed down by virgil "I apologize for all this doubt we are just worn out and just want any answer we can get, once we have a location we can formulate a solid plan to capture and return the oracle". Benkei washed his face and looked at the group " I do have one thing to say that applies to all of us here....we need some training and better gear if we are going to head into the lions den of the duran army, if the fight against the demon and the duran forces has taught me anything is that we are lacking in power, weapons and strategy". Benkei would express how the weaponry and technology of the duran empire were far advance than anticipated "Are they any powerful weapon forgers or alchemist about in this area? I have a few ideas for armor pieces and the gauntlets to give me a better edge". Benkei would look at the group for any feedback then he had a thought "Kuro should be back by now?"

Nir had turned to Biggs, who spoke on his master’s ability to locate The Oracle. However, he didn’t explain his method of doing so too well. It had seemed that Nir would simply have to ask Nostradamus himself. Virgil interceded, telling Nir that Nostradamus’ way of locating The Oracle would be very taxing. ”I see. So after this, I’ll be sure to ask your master myself. We need all the help we can get to locate her.” Benkai had then assured Nir that their primary objective was to locate Persephone. Nir’d respond with a nod.

But Van’s critical viewpoint on Nostradamus didn’t go unheard. What he had stated did not sit well with Shinji, causing him to sit up. Van stood sitting in the water, not even flinching one bit. He stared at Shinji as he was held back by Virgil, who mentioned how the residents of Arcadia looked up to Master Nostradamus. That they would not hesitate to get rid of someone they deemed a threat. This was brushed off by Van. ”Am I supposed to be afraid? He may be your master, but he isn’t mine. Consider me the skeptic in the group. I won’t believe anything until I see it.” Benkai would quickly try to alleviate the situation. He apologized to the Ovale trio. ”Yes, apologies for Van’s doubt. We’ll hope for the best.” Nir added in. Van’d simply smirk, resting his head back.

After brief silence, Benkai brought up training and weapons. If they were going to go searching for The Oracle, they’d need better gear to defend themselves against Duran. ”I agree. We won’t be able to get anything done with the provisions we have now. Some of us cannot even defend ourselves properly. Specifically, Kira and Anna. I do know that Anna possesses powerful magic, but she needs to learn how to wield a weapon.” He turned to Virgil, ”Perhaps I can train her? I can teach her how to use a sword.” He awaited an answer from the trio. ”You know Benkai, that’s the first idea that I’ve actually liked from you. I do have some metal that I’d like to use. And do not worry about Kuro, he’s exploring.”


With Kuro leaving the girls, Remi began commenting on how creepy Kuro was. Stella arched her eyebrow, giggling a bit nervously, ”Yes, he’s not really something I’m used to. I’m not even sure what kind of creature he is.” Kira rubbed her chin, pondering the different creatures that he could possibly be. ”Well, in all of my years of hosting contests in the arena, I’ve never seen something like Kuro. Such a weird thing.” As they spoke amongst themselves in the bathhouse, Kuro was busy floating about the corridors. ”Wooooooow! This place is huge!”

Benkei listened as nir and van had agreed with him about training for the upcoming battles and war but virgil had opposed about joining the war. Benkei looked at him to clarify a few things "We did not sign up for a war either, neither did the men, woman and children who were slaughter and killed by duran solders like R-17". R-17 looked at them with disgust but looked down "I am not asking you to join the war! myself, nir and van are not fighting their war but we are trying to fight to prevent it from starting in the first place for if they acquire the power of the oracle as well as gather the powerful weapons from the powerful titans i mentioned earlier then all is lost". Benkei had dropped a powerful realization to the group that the key to all of this is the oracle herself. Benkei looked at shinji and virgil "Whatever important quest you all most do is fine, i respect your ambitions but do not think for a sec i am recruiting solders for a fight no one wants at all, we need all the help we can get to stop this war from starting in the first place. Nir had mentioned training anna but shinji had mentioned how he trained her well in weaponry but hid her true power "Hmm okay all is well then, well we should wash up and eat while we have the time to relax so we can train as well as enhance our skills, i would like to offer a friendly sparing match against you shinji since i did not get a proper battle with you". In that moment R-17 looked at the group in anger and spoke his mind finally "I...did not murder women and children.....that was the line i could not cross, yes our solders killed them but i did not participate in such actions i only killed men i was ordered to kill...."

The young men from Ovale had brushed off any idea of going to war with Duran. They had stated the importance of their pesonal goal, and how locating The Oracle was a part of it. Benkai had added in that it wasn’t a war they were fighting, but rather they were fighting to prevent one. Nir sighed, chiming in as well to defend the idea of preventing such a war. ”I understand that you have something to accomplish. I also understand that it involves The Oracle, whatever it may be. But as Benkai said, look what happened earlier? We weren’t able to avoid a confrontation with Duran. They had slaughtered all of those people. How do we know that they aren’t in possession of The Oracle? We don’t even know where she is now!” His tone had raised. The young man was visibly troubled. ”They’re also after the demon that you host. And sure, they may not know that you’re the one housing it, but they have laid eyes upon your friends Virgil. You may very well be a target to Duran now. What will you do knowing this? Run from them? Worry about The Oracle and your personal mission while they hunt you all down like dogs?” Nir paused for a brief moment. ”They know about us as well. I’ll tell you this though....I won’t allow them to just keep doing what they’re doing. I certainly won’t allow them to take us out....And locating The Oracle means a lot more to me than the rest of you......It won’t stop me from defending innocent lives and preventing unnecessary casualties.”

He’d also touch on Shinji’s comment about Anna, before he was interrupted by Virgil. They must have taken Nir for a fool. However, unbeknownst to them, something about Anna was very similar to Persephone. Growing up with Persephone, she had displayed the same magical aptitude as the young girl. There was no doubt in his head that Anna was special. But that didn’t mean that she didn’t require further training. ”......Shinji, with all due respect, the young girl was on the brink of death earlier. Had Virgil not come to his senses, she would have been killed. She needs to learn how to use a weapon. She needs to be trained in the art of combat. I tell you this as a captain under the Galatian army.” Van sat there in silence, both eyes closed. As they continued to exchange words, he had connected with Kuro. ’Kuro, have you found anything useful yet? Any holes in their defense? We don’t have much time left.’ The spectral fiend floated over many who were frightened, or startled, by the creature’s appearance. ’Oh hey Van! You guys kill each other yet?? No, I kid. But I haven’t found anything yet. This place is so huge that I’m not sure where to begin searching for the archives.’ Van sighed, ’Try following one of the scholars. See where they lead you. I’ll check back up on you in ten minutes.’

Back with the guys, Nir continued speaking on Anna’s need for training. He turned to Virgil, who mentioned that she has Koji to protect her. ”Koji seems like an excellent protector, but where was he when she was about to be killed by the very being that resides in your Virgil? You cannot simply rely on her magic and Koji.” Nir stopped himself from speaking any further. What he brought up was a pretty touchy subject for the Ovale orphans. R-17 would soon break the silence defending his actions. That he did not kill any women or children, but the men that he was told to kill. At that moment Van had ended his connection with Kuro, ”You can say whatever you want. Still won’t excuse you.” Nir’d shake his head, turning to R-17. ”The more you antagonize him, the more he’ll continue to despise us. He has helped us and without him we would have probably been dead. I thank you, R—No, I won’t call you by your Duran title. Is there a name that I can call you by?”

Meanwhile at the women’s bath house, the young women had continued to enjoy their moment of relaxation. They were getting along very well, unlike the men. Stella had been resting her head back, a small towel covering her face. Kira, was twirling the water surface with her index finger. ”Sooooooooo....Remi. You’re always with those guys right? And you’re a very beautiful woman right? I’m just wondering....have you ever....” She gave Remi a sly look, ”Dated one of them?” With her question asked, she giggled. Stella’d raise her head, interested in the answer to the question. The small towel would slide right off.

Some light had been shed upon the Ovale group. Benkei had mentioned that they weren’t being recruited for a war but rather asked to help prevent the a full scale war from happening. Nir would also speak his mind. He’d also touch up on the topic of training Anna and that she needs to learn how to use a weapon. In direct response to Benkei Virgil would speak to him. ”I understand your feelings for this matter and on behalf of the others we refuse.” He’d look towards the Galatians with a stern look. There was no changing his mind. ”Our mission holds precedence over anything else. This was something we were tasked with when we left Ovale. Benkei thought it was suffice hearing that Anna has proper training in magic a bit in basic combat. However, Nir thought differently. He had started to talk on how Anna needed to learn how to use a weapon. How she needed more basic training. ”Now I’m gonna have to stop you there. Yeah I’ll agree that it would be good for her to learn how to use a weapon. Unfortunately, she isn’t really any good at using weapons. You don’t know her the way we do, naturally we would know her strengths and weaknesses. Weaponry definitely is her weak point. She needs someone that can teach her in magic combat more so. We have Remi and that helps but of course Remi isn’t a master herself.” Shinji has brought up a valid argument while agreeing with Nir. The reason why Anna wouldn’t be able to be taught how to handle weapons was because she wasn’t very compatible with them. ”To make it simple, people are born with unique characteristics. Some are able to do things incredibly and naturally while others have to work hard to reach that point. That’s what we would call talent. Everyone has a talent. And for those that work hard to catch up to those with talent, it’s a talent in itself to even reach those peaks. Now for the few that don’t have the talent to excel they will never be able to reach those with talent ever. Not because they don’t work hard, it’s because they just aren’t able to do it.” Shinji’s explaination on how people are born with talent has hopefully reached Nir at this point. We get into all kinds of trouble because he’s so reckless. And he’s so stubborn. I can’t tell you enough how stubborn he is. He could be dead wrong and argue for at least a week on the same topic to somehow prove he’s right.” Anna would giggle a bit. ”Shinji is kinda mean. When we were training he was real tough. But he always made sure I was ok. He’s a very caring person.” ”Out of the boys Biggs is the kindest and most gentle. I haven’t met anyone that can compare to him in that category. He’s also so quite around girls so it’s hard for him to get a girlfriend.
